TeamFreight Corp. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Import Manager
to join our growing team. This role is based in either our New Jersey or Miami office and is critical in ensuring seamless import operations for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end import processes for air and ocean shipments Prepare and file customs entries, ISF, and AMS accurately and timely Liaise with customs, carriers, and other government agencies Provide proactive support to clients, handling calls and inquiries Coordinate with overseas agents and vendors to ensure timely documentation Oversee compliance with U.S. customs regulations and company SOPs Support operations team with related documentation and follow-up tasks What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of experience in import operations, preferably in a freight forwarding or customs brokerage environment Strong knowledge of U.S. import regulations, customs entry writing, and ISF/AMS filings Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines with precision Familiarity with systems like ACE, ABI, and common freight platforms Must have CargoWise One experience Seniority level
