The Hardware/ Electrical Design Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, including designers, customers, and project leaders, to drive high-quality product development. They incorporate feedback from various reviews to enhance designs across manufacturing, testing, and reliability.
PCB, Mixed Signal, High-Speed, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement technical solutions for complex projects.
- Participate in project planning and scheduling.
- Develop and test GPU/CPU systems, circuit boards, and storage media.
- Create high-speed data signal circuitry with Gigabit Ethernet networking switches.
- Manage non-technical project aspects (schedule, budget, documentation).
- Analyze customer specifications and recommend solutions.
- Lead strategic technology deployment and coordinate global efforts.
- Design systems that meet customer needs, including schematics and diagrams.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Experience with high-speed serial data protocols (SPI, I2C, USB).
- Familiarity with optical transceivers (SFP, OSFP, QFSP) and NRZ modulation.
- Proven technical leadership and knowledge of industry trends in AI and accelerated compute.
- Experience in rack design for compute platforms and knowledge of Broadcom chips is a plus.
- Strong organizational, planning, and program management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
