We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Safety Consultant to work remotely from their home, preferably in the Raleigh North Carolina area, to serve clients throughout North Carolina.
The Senior Safety Consultant provides clients strategic safety leadership to establish a safety culture.
The Senior Safety Consultant designs, develops, and implements safety programs, training, policies, and procedures, as well as tracks performance and implements preventative measures to reduce clients' risk and promote the safety of its employees.
Candidates must also have a passion for customer service and creating an experience that fosters continued engagement.
Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
Service a variety of clients across multiple industries that are complex and demanding
Manage multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables
Facilitate monthly safety committee meetings of clients
Complete job site and facility inspections and reports
Provide employee training and development on a variety of safety topics
Design safety policies and programs, make revisions, and oversee hands-on implementation.
Develop of company specific JSAs or HSAs
Assist clients with OSHA or other industry-specific regulatory compliance. Maintain client files for auditing purposes
Evaluate client progress, suggesting program modifications as necessary
Develop a long-term strategic plan of action based on loss potential, loss history, hazard identification, program needs, etc.
Coordinate activities between other departments on specific issues or injuries.

Successful candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in safety sciences or a related field and will have at least 7 years of relevant safety experience across multiple industries. ASP, CSP, or similar professional designations are highly desirable.
