Your impact
We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Program/Project Manager who will build strategic business partnerships and deliver Instrumentation and Control (I&C) and SCADA integration projects with key municipal clients throughout the Southeast US. You will need to understand client organizations and processes, develop and maintain consistent relationships at all organizational levels, and work to ensure that Jacobs is the consultant-of-choice for our clients. You will be expected to leverage your experience and interpersonal skills to work with Jacobs growing I&C/ SCADA teams performance and consistently deliver high-quality technical solutions for our clients.
We are a full-service provider of information solutions and facility automation services that span the full life cycle of SCADA implementation, from conceptual planning, design, configuration, construction build, installation, testing, startup, and post-commissioning services.
The Senior Program/Project Manager will be based in the Orlando Florida area and will serve our water/ wastewater clients in four primary areas of our business 1) Client Service Leader for key water clients, 2) Program/ Project Manager delivering a diverse portfolio of water projects, 3) Team leader for existing and future I&C engineers and SCADA programmers, 4) Senior I&C/ SCADA Technologist and mentor providing technical expertise for local and regional projects.
In this role, you will
- Manage medium to large complex SCADA /OT projects with multidiscipline teams executed from multiple office locations for large state and local government, municipal, and industrial projects.
- Manage several projects of various sizes and durations at the same time.
- Lead and manage the project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other specified requirements stated in the contract.
- Complete the scope of work to the satisfaction of the client, while simultaneously ensuring that Jacobs staff safety, product quality, project financial, risk management, business, and policy expectations are met.
- Lead business development activities resulting in the award of a contract. This could include client relationship development, project-specific positioning activities, proposal preparation, oral presentation, and contract negotiation consistent with established business development processes.
- Be responsible for the development and execution of SCADA Master Plans.
- Lead project teams during start-up and commissioning activities.
- Possess general knowledge of control system code (PLC and HMI) and be involved with preparing specifications and drawings.
- Provide general supervision and mentoring to junior staff for the development of design drawings and specifications.
- Work as part of a team and independently to evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
- Conduct site evaluations and make recommendations for control systems upgrades.
- Travel as needed for projects to support control system commissioning and startups.
- Drive ownership of health & safety in all aspects of project execution, office, and personal environments.

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer registration for FL.
- 15 years of program/ project management experience including managing large interdisciplinary automation projects, SCADA programming, OT, information solutions, and I&C design projects.
- 10 years of experience in municipal water/wastewater treatment processes, control systems, and information solutions.
- 10 years of technical experience in PLC /HMI control systems, development of control system architecture, development of SCADA Master Plans, Radio Telemetry systems, SCADA OT Network design, development of P&IDs, lead design engineer.
- Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint.
- Team player, ability to work independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills to large audiences.
Ideally, youll also have
- PMP Certification.
- Experience with SCADA System Integration including panel building, field wiring, testing, and commissioning of systems.
- Experience with SCADA OT Network design and build.
- Experience with Radio telemetry design and build.
- Experience with transportation control systems.
Posted Salary Range Minimum: 130,900.00
Posted Salary Range Upper: 171,825.00

The base salary range for this position is $130,900.00 to $171,825.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
