Seeking a results-driven
Cloud Engineer
with expertise in
AWS
to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and system administration, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and support critical infrastructure events. Primary Responsibilities Design and implement robust AWS-based cloud solutions. Manage the configuration, deployment, and lifecycle of production systems. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard DevOps tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable infrastructure and services. Monitor cloud environments, respond to incidents, and ensure system reliability. Align security configurations with best practices and compliance requirements. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and support infrastructure changes during off-hours as needed. Analyze system performance and provide input for capacity planning. Recommend architectural and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. Stay informed on cloud technology trends and continuously pursue relevant certifications. Required Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience and certifications). 3+ years of hands-on experience with
AWS services
such as EC2, S3, RDS, and ELB. 3+ years of system administration experience in
Linux/Unix and Windows environments . Experience working with virtualization platforms like
VMware ,
Citrix Xen , or
OpenStack . Solid experience with
DevOps tools
such as Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, or Kubernetes. Strong understanding of cloud deployment and build practices. Certifications ITIL v4
or
Six Sigma
certification (preferred). Strong communication and collaboration skills. High attention to detail with the ability to manage tasks independently. Ability to work in high-pressure, dynamic environments. Flexibility to support systems during non-standard hours (nights, weekends, early mornings). Willingness to contribute during high-profile or large-scale events, when required. Seniority level
