Senior Research Associate/Associate Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology (Pulmonary)

Oculus is partnered with a small biotech based in the Bay Area dedicated to impacting human health by developing novel therapeutics for fibrosis and metabolic diseases. The team is composed of accomplished and passionate drug hunters on a mission to impact health and patient lives. The Senior Research Associate/Associate Scientist will have a deep understanding of in vivo pharmacology and will join a small and agile Immunology group in our Bay Area location.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Pharmacology, Biology, Biotechnology, or related with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in a biotech setting
- Deep understanding of in vivo pharmacology & animal models
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with lung biology, including pulmonary fibrosis (iPF), bleomycin-induced lung fibrosis, COPD, etc.
- Experience in a small or start-up biotech setting
