The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success using our product.We are seeking an Account Manager to take ownership on NPI and sustaining OEM/JDM business. The sales role will collaborate with cross-functional team members based in the US and Asia to develop the latest solutions in consumer electronics.
Responsibilities
Work cross functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders in customers' success
Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs
Make visits to our customers to identify opportunities for growth within our platform
Manage all reporting about the health of customers' accounts
Develop relationships with key customers and generate leads for new opportunities.
Create sales strategies based on customer’s business strategy, market research and competitor analyses.
Own RFQ/RFP response, NPI process, and the commercial relationship upon project award. Provide regular quotation updates and SOW completion.
Work with Cross-functional teams within both Customer and Internal teams, including Sourcing, Engineering, Program Management, and other related teams.
Based upon day-to-day engagement with customers, act as a proactive liaison with our factory personnel.
Provide regular project status updates to management and drive timely completion of tasks.
Negotiate liabilities with customers and retrieve POs when applicable.
Manage product transitions to minimize excess and obsolete materials.
Lead recovery plans and execution when supply falls short of demand.
Qualifications
Previous account management experience. 7+ years of sales experience and 3+ years of project management experience.
Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role
Willingness and ability to travel
Bachelor’s degree is required. Master's degree desired.
Experience in Audio Component sales is highly desired.
Understanding of Product cost and ability to analyze clean sheets.
Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
Strong organizational skills and ability to lead multiple projects and prioritize when required.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Strong attention to details.
Fluent in conversational Mandarin is highly desired.
