Target Materials (TM) Analyst Responsibilities
Must comply with DoD policy, CJCS Manuals and Instructions (CJCSI 3370, CJCSI 3160, CJCSM 3162), and USCENTCOM policies/supplements/regulations, in addition to division and branch SOPs. Adhere to established product formats, fulfill production deadlines, and meet response suspense. Possess and maintain NGA and USCENTCOM qualification standards. Conduct Target Coordinate Mensuration (TCM) using direct, registration (controlled tie), multiple image geopositioning (MIG), and resection (uncontrolled tie) techniques on various target types, utilizing command-directed NGA validated mensuration tools to support employment of precision-guided munitions. Perform weaponeering solutions using approved tools and/or guides to achieve desired damage criteria. Conduct CDE and produce required graphics. Submit collection requests as needed to satisfy target material requirements. Perform targeting analysis to accomplish battle damage assessment (BDA), produce BDA products, and assist with combat assessment. Identify and nominate no-strike entities to the assigned database. Conduct hard and deeply buried target analysis and prepare related products. Provide input to DoD and CJCS Manuals/Instructions, USCENTCOM policies/SOPs, and standards for TM production as required. Coordinate with external and internal production centers and customers to ensure timely product delivery. Respond to RFIs and prepare and present briefings as needed. This role may require flexible support hours outside standard duty hours, including weekends, TDYs, deployments, and support for 24/7 targeting operations. Minimum Requirements
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, with at least some experience within the last 2 years. Education
Master’s degree related to the labor category from an accredited college or university, or a Bachelor’s degree with 17 years of related senior experience as a substitute. Security Clearance
TS/SCI clearance required. Location
