We are looking to hire an excellent Senior Data Scientist or Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Analytics team. The typical work includes providing insights and analysis, managing and modeling data in our data warehouse, reporting, and data visualization. Note: This is not a machine learning or predictive modeling role. Responsibilities: Coding: Write code in SQL and Python, including for ad hoc analyses, basic ELT pipelines, and more. Data modeling: Use dbt to model data in our warehouse; transform raw data into usable data. Analysis and insights: Prepare and analyze data to provide clear and actionable insights to the business. Communication: Effectively communicate your work with team leads and cross-functional stakeholders regularly. Data visualization: Use software (e.g., Looker, Python) to create diagrams, graphs, charts, and dashboards to represent trends and predictions. Bonus Points: Design and analyze A/B experiments to evaluate the impact of changes and optimize risk actions. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, or a similar STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR A graduate degree in statistics, data science, or a similar STEM field with 3+ years of relevant experience. Advanced proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker). Experience with scripting and data analysis using Python. Experience with using dbt for data modeling.
