We are looking for a highly effective Senior Technical Program Manager that can lead a team to quickly design and deliver systems while maintaining a constant customer focus. The Technical Program Manager for this team needs a sound understanding of the fundamentals of communications and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems. If you become the Senior Technical Program Manager, you will work with design, technical, and business leaders to set strategy and define the product. You will drive, track, and report the development effort to leadership and partners. You will define the engagement model and manage internal/external dependencies and relationships. You will be a key leader responsible for delivering the distributed systems and analytics that will enable AWS to continue changing the software industry.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
