Must have recent Banking/Financial Services domain exposure Job Overview: Client is seeking an experienced Vendor Manager to support its vendor operations, third-party risk management, and supplier governance. This role is critical to ensuring the effectiveness of external partnerships and maintaining regulatory compliance across procurement and vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities: Manage vendor relationships and act as the primary liaison between client and third-party providers. Ensure adherence to BNY Mellon’s Supplier Code of Conduct, focusing on ethics, compliance, and business integrity. Conduct ongoing vendor risk assessments and due diligence in alignment with organizational policies. Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure vendors meet contract obligations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess vendor needs and recommend appropriate sourcing strategies. Oversee contract lifecycle, compliance, and renewals. Lead and coordinate business continuity testing with critical vendors as needed. Maintain strong documentation and reporting in support of audits and regulatory compliance. Address data protection risks and support technology governance when outsourcing sensitive functions. Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of U.S. experience in a Vendor Management, Procurement, or Risk Management role . Recent experience working within the
Banking or Financial Services
industry is mandatory. Proven track record in third-party risk management, including assessment and compliance monitoring. Strong understanding of vendor governance, contract management, and procurement best practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work onsite in Jersey City, NJ, 5 days a week without exceptions. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. Thanks Seniority level
