Closing Date: 03/24/2025 Winnacunnet High School is seeking a passionate and skilled Technology and Engineering Teacher with a strong emphasis on woodworking to inspire and educate our students. This position offers the opportunity to shape young minds, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and a love for hands-on learning within a dynamic and supportive educational environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at teaching a range of technology and engineering concepts while possessing significant expertise and enthusiasm for woodworking and related crafts.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Technology Education, Industrial Technology, Engineering Education, or a related field. A degree in a related engineering or design field with demonstrable woodworking experience may also be considered. Valid teaching certification in the appropriate subject area (or eligibility to obtain certification) Demonstrated expertise and experience in various woodworking/engineering/technology desciplines. Strong Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a woodworking shop environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
