We are seeking an experienced Snowflake architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the Snowflake data platform. The ideal candidate will craft robust, scalable data architecture solutions supporting advanced analytics, data warehousing, and real-time data processing across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-starter with a growth mindset, adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with diverse teams. Architect and implement scalable, secure, high-performance data solutions on Snowflake. Understand business challenges, data requirements, and current technology ecosystems. Develop and enforce data architecture best practices, including data modeling, ELT/ETL pipelines, and data governance. Understand data marts and their enterprise usage. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design end-to-end pipelines ensuring seamless Snowflake integration. Optimize Snowflake solutions for cost, performance, and reliability. Lead technical engagements with internal teams and clients. Guide data engineers, analysts, and developers in Snowflake best practices. Establish governance, security, and compliance standards within Snowflake environments. Minimum Qualifications
5+ years in data architecture or data engineering roles. At least 3 years hands-on experience with Snowflake. Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data solutions. Experience in consulting or client-facing roles, especially with D&A or enterprise customers. Deep understanding of modern data architecture principles, including cloud platforms like AWS. Expertise in Snowflake architecture, data sharing, performance optimization, and security. Experience integrating Snowflake with BI/Visualization tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, or Crystal Reports. Hands-on experience with data modeling, schema design, and ELT pipelines. Understanding of cloud-native services for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration (e.g., AWS services). Experience integrating Snowflake with SIEM solutions for real-time monitoring and compliance. Designing secure data pipelines for logs and audit data transfer from Snowflake to SIEM platforms. Experience in high-performance data extraction from Teradata to Snowflake. Leveraging Amazon S3 as a staging layer for data transfer and scalability. About PROLIM Corporation
