At RESLV, we’re passionate about telling powerful stories—and we’re looking for a Video Editor who shares that passion. Role Overview We’re seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team on-site in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical editing skills, a storyteller’s mindset, and the ability to collaborate closely with our in-house creatives and clients to deliver video content that drives results. Key Responsibilities Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging content across platforms including social media, broadcast, web, and corporate. Collaborate with producers, directors, and designers to craft compelling narratives that reflect client goals and brand identity. Incorporate motion graphics, music, color correction, and sound design to elevate production value. Manage and maintain organized project files and media assets. Ensure content is delivered on-time, on-brand, and optimized for platform specifications. Stay current with trends in video editing, visual storytelling, and platform best practices. Qualifications 3+ years of professional video editing experience. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Strong storytelling instincts and visual sensibility. Solid understanding of current social media video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific deliverables (e.g. Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, etc.). Awareness of social media marketing trends and how video content supports broader marketing strategies. Ability to take direction and feedback well, while also contributing original ideas. Experience with color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be local to Cincinnati, OH. Bonus Skills Experience editing for branded content, documentaries, or commercial clients. Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve or Cinema 4D.
