A Software Dev Engineer II role in New York, NY is available through Belcan. You will support and develop software applications related to merchandising, impacting our customers directly.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop monitoring solutions, troubleshoot/debug, and fix issues in software (Java, Python, etc.), perform SQL queries, and enhance systems that gather metrics.
Collaborate on software projects, update and improve existing software, automate support processes, and document systems.
Basic Qualifications
Full Stack development experience preferred.
Interest in software development with a desire to expand coding skills.
Attention to detail, excellent communication, organizational skills, ability to work independently, and professionalism under pressure.
3+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years of design/architecture experience (scalability, reliability).
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C, Python, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
