As a Test Engineer focused on MicroLED Display Manufacturing, you will be responsible for the qualification, deployment, and ongoing support of microLED and display panel test systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate new testing capabilities and provide critical data for both engineering and production. You will work closely with our test engineering and operations teams to optimize test time, extend capabilities, expand capacity, and reduce costs for production test plans. Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets. Responsibilities
Validate, maintain, replicate, and improve microLED and display test stations for several form factors (including on-wafer, singulated panel assembly) needed to support our microLED technology roadmap. Debug and troubleshoot electrical, optical, mechanical, and software issues, identifying root causes and working with teammates to implement improvements. Develop data flagging systems and automated reporting to improve our manufacturing test platforms. Collaborate across engineering teams on developing scalable test strategies and implementing them in production. Optimize testing throughput by identifying opportunities for operational efficiency improvements and test time reduction. Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
