Apex is hiring a Graphics Software Engineer for a contract role on site in Redmond, WA.
Ideal Candidate:
Mid to Senior Level:
6-8 years of experience in software development, preferably in machine learning or computer vision. Self-Motivated and Proactive:
Takes initiative, drives progress, and introduces new ideas. Strong Technical Skills:
Proficiency in C++, Python, or Java, with experience in machine learning frameworks. Collaborative Mindset:
Comfortable working in teams, collaborating, and communicating effectively. Additionally, we seek a talented Software Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in graphics and game development, with a strong background in C++ and experience with game engines such as Unity, O3DE, and Unreal. The role involves working on the RALD and Romulus projects, focusing on graphics and rendering enhancements. Qualifications:
4+ years in C++ programming. 3+ years in graphics/game development. 2+ years with game engines like Unity, O3DE, Unreal. Strong problem-solving skills and independence. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies. Deliver high-quality code within deadlines. Effective cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities:
Focus on Graphics Applications:
Develop and optimize graphics applications for platforms like Quest. Module Development:
Design, implement, and test reusable modules across projects. Hardware-Aware Development:
Optimize code considering hardware limitations and capabilities, including performance, power, and memory. Working with custom hardware like Quest requires in-depth hardware understanding and optimization. The role offers opportunities for innovative solutions and close collaboration with hardware engineers, software developers, and researchers. Additional Information:
