Piper Companies is seeking a Lead Software Engineer – P&C Insurance for a growing insurance organization located in Tampa, Florida. The Lead Software Engineer – P&C Insurance is a hybrid position. A successful candidate for the Lead Software Engineer – P&C Insurance will possess a versatile technology background within the commercial Property and Casualty insurance domain.
Responsibilities for the Lead Software Engineer – P&C Insurance include:
Serve as a solutions engineer for all technical solutions Own solutions related to integrations, customizations, automation, event streaming, and Intelligent Data Processing Work closely with multiple stakeholders within the business, IT, and Engineering Requirements for the Lead Software Engineer – P&C Insurance include:
Over 5 years of professional development and solutions engineering experience Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance background Strong background working with 3rd party software and creating solutions related to integrations, customizations, automation, event streaming, and Intelligent Data Processing Strong verbal and written communication skills Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or relevant work experience Compensation of the Lead Software Engineer – P&C Insurance:
$160,000 - $190,000 annually FTE position, Full Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by Law, and Holidays
