Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer located in Herndon, VA. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software systems. Daily tasks include writing code, implementing back-end systems, troubleshooting software issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The engineer will also be involved in software architecture planning and ensuring software adheres to the best practices in object-oriented programming and computer science principles.
Qualifications Strong background in Computer Science and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development Proficiency in various programming languages Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Experience in the defense or electronic warfare industry is a plus Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
