Responsibilities Peraton is hiring an Enterprise Architect to work onsite in Stafford, VA. The successful candidate will be part of a team of Certified Enterprise Architects responsible for developing Marine Corps Program of Record (POR) DoDAF Systems Architectures, and reviewing and tracking completed architectures throughout JITC testing and the Joint Staff Interoperability Certification process. The Architect Team directly supports the government customer, the USMC Chief Systems Architect, and collaborates closely with the USMC Chief Operational Architect and Operational Architecture Team. The team member will work with Marine Corps Systems Command Program Offices (Project Officer, Lead Engineer, Analysts, contractor support team) to understand, interpret, and model system requirements within the DoDAF MetaModel (DM2). The role involves leading information/data management projects, including enterprise architecture, information models and flows, data dictionaries, data standards, and data quality standards and processes. Knowledge of application modeling languages/techniques such as UML, SysML, entity relationship modeling, UPDM2, and UAF is required, including creating and interpreting related diagrams. Experience in creating data dictionaries, defining metadata management approaches, and implementing governance processes is essential. The candidate should have experience developing and implementing IT architecture plans, enterprise information architecture standards, software development methodologies, and strategic plans. Qualifications Requires 2 to 5 years of experience with a BS/BA or MS/MA or PhD, with 0+ years of relevant experience. The candidate should be familiar with IT standards, engineering information management documents, and the DoD Acquisition Process, specifically JCIDS and BCAC. Additional desired skills include: Enterprise Architect certification (e.g., FEAC CEA) Experience with DoDAF architecture development Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Experience with architecture development tools such as NoMagic Cameo or Enterprise Architect Marine Corps experience or knowledge Active DOD Secret Security Clearance Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence worldwide.
