We are looking for a Senior Solution Engineer who is accustomed to solving customer's most complex problems and closing large deals. In this role, you will work directly with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize on navigating sales cycles, provide compelling value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and ultimately close business.
As a Snowflake Solution Engineer, you must share our passion for reinventing the database space, thrive in a dynamic environment, and be flexible and willing to jump in and get things done. You should be comfortable in both business and technical contexts, interacting with executives and technical audiences alike.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL GET TO:
Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers. Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate Snowflake's value throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation. Immerse yourself in the industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and how to position Snowflake accordingly. Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake's products and marketing strategies. ON DAY ONE, WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
7-8 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment. Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences. Broad experience with large-scale Database and Data Warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies (e.g., Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric). Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python. Ability to connect customer business problems with Snowflake solutions. Ability to conduct deep discovery of customer architecture frameworks and relate them to Snowflake Data Architecture. A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields; a Master's in Data Science or Business Administration is a plus. Experience with GSIs (e.g., EY, Deloitte, Accenture) is beneficial but not required. ABOUT OUR TEAM:
Our Solution Engineers are customer-obsessed, value-driven, and honest about their capabilities. We love learning, value feedback, and are passionate about client success. Our team ensures data is accessible, usable, and valuable for everyone. ABOUT SNOWFLAKE:
