Position Overview

South Georgia Medical Center, a 373-bed health system serving 400,000 residents across South Georgia and North Florida, is seeking an exceptional board eligible/certified General Cardiologist to join our growing Heart Center in the "Azalea City of the South."

About the Facility

Our facility features robotic-assisted surgeries, a renowned open-heart surgery program, comprehensive cancer care, and advanced services like a satellite burn center. The Dasher Memorial Heart Center provides a full continuum of cardiac care with a team of skilled cardiologists, cardio-thoracic surgeons, and vascular specialists.

Position Details

• General Cardiology
• Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with shared call
• Modern office next to the hospital with a full-service non-invasive vascular lab
• State-of-the-art facilities including VS/Hybrid Operating Room, imaging, and peripheral cath lab

Qualifications

• Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
• Unrestricted medical license in Georgia
• Passion for quality, safety, service excellence, and team collaboration; experience with EPIC EMR is a plus
