A full-time school-based Speech-Language Pathologist is needed in the Portland, Oregon area to provide essential speech and language therapy for students in grades K8 during the school year. This onsite contract role offers an opportunity to serve approximately 50 students with a structured service model designed to balance therapy and evaluation time effectively. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K8 students with diverse communication needs Manage a caseload averaging 50 students, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct evaluations, assessments, and documentation during designated weeks Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student progress Adhere to all state and federal guidelines for educational services and confidentiality Qualifications and Experience: Valid Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Familiarity with K12 educational service delivery models and caseload management Competent in teletherapy practices is a plus but onsite presence is required Certification of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or willingness to obtain is advantageous Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area (onsite position) Serving a K8 public school setting Contract Details: Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) Service model: 3 weeks therapy, 1 week evaluation/documentation per month This position offers ongoing professional support and weekly pay throughout the duration of the assignment, ensuring a fulfilling and well-supported work environment.
