Closing Date: Open Until Filled Ledyard Public Schools is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist for the Extended School Year program. The extended school year program is provided for students with disabilities when recommended through the PPT process. The Speech and Language Pathologist will work in person and/or virtually with students. The Speech and Language Pathologist provides assessment, planning, support, and therapy for students with speech and/or language communication disorders and delays.
The Extended School Year program will run June 30 - July 31, Monday- Thursday, from 9:00 AM -1:00 PM. Staff will be expected to be on-site 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM to assist with arrival and dismissal.
Qualifications:
Appropriate CT certification - Special Service Endorsement 061, Speech and Language Pathologist Demonstrated excellence in a school setting preferred Foster student's ability to communicate their needs, feelings, and ideas Evidence of ability to work cooperatively with administrators, teachers, and paraeducators Ability to organize and coordinate work Continues to acquire professional knowledge by attending seminars, workshops, or professional meetings, or by conducting research Additional Duties:
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Director of Student Services and others as designated by the Superintendent. Salary and Benefits:
