JOB SUMMARY FOR SPEECH PATHOLOGIST I & SPEECH PATHOLOGIST - CFY:
At Rady Children's Outpatient Speech-Language Pathology Department, the primary focus of our Speech-Language Pathologists is early intervention for children 0 to 3 years of age, often on the autism spectrum, as well as medically complex children. Speech-Language Pathologists evaluate children with speech, language, cognitive, feeding/swallowing, and auditory impairments and provide specialized therapy to develop their language skills.
Speech-Language Pathologists craft family-centered, innovative treatment plans through onsite and virtual visits to improve the patient's functional potential. Our team regularly presents outcome studies at national conferences, emphasizing our commitment to innovation.
We offer multiple opportunities for growth and advancement, including in-house continuing education credits (up to 10 CEUs per year!) and training in different specialties. We value a diverse team of experienced professionals and early-career individuals, seeking lifelong learners and mentors in their specialty areas.
SPEECH PATHOLOGIST I
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree, 1 Year of Experience, ASHA - Speech Lang Path, BLS for Health Providers (AHA), Speech Lang Pathologist License, ability to work independently with critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual English/Spanish, specialty certification in Speech Pathology advanced practice, pediatric experience.
SPEECH PATHOLOGIST - CFY
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology, CFY eligibility, CA Speech Language Pathologist License eligibility, ASHA - Speech Lang Path eligible, current BLS for Healthcare Providers, bilingual English/Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience.
The salary range for Speech Pathologist I is $45.75 to $62.90, and for Speech Pathologist - CFY is $41.49 to $57.05.
