Sr. Software Engineer (Multiple Positions) (REF260031H)
Full-time Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr. Software Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 N. Haggerty Road, Plymouth, Michigan 48170. The role involves working as a Senior Software Engineer focused on simulation activities for GM Tl XX_2 Programs and IPB 1.x Global B programs. Responsibilities include: Completing Simulation Project Responsible (CSW-SIM-PR). Working on simulation deliverables for GM Brake System projects for VMNA Brake Systems. Focusing on projects: GM IPB Global A and Global B projects. Leading and achieving internal and external simulation targets within Bosch and with GM. Hands-on work with simulation tools like CCSIL and FSIL, ensuring timely delivery. Participating in GM virtualization targets and Virtual ECU development. Integrating SW SIM modules and setting up the SW build environment to obtain SIM Complete Software (SIMSW). Planning SW milestones and release plans with stakeholders. Designing, developing, and delivering simulation SW change requests based on customer requirements, including debugging and issue analysis. Releasing SW to internal teams and OEMs for validation. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in software development roles such as Software Developer or Architect. Experience must include: Embedded C, C++, and Python MATLAB, ASCET, CARsim, CAR maker, or other modeling/auto-coding tools Software configuration management tools (TCM or SCM) PC-based testing tools Testing in close-loop environments (INCA or ETAS tools) and vehicle validation Communication protocols (CAN, LIN), Input-Output (ADC or PWM), Memory (EEPROM, FLASH, NVM), and Micro-controller operations Fundamentals of automotive physics, components, or fluid dynamics This position does not support telecommuting.
