Sr. Java Developer (Onsite)
We are seeking a
Senior Full Stack Engineer
to design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance software solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Java, Microservices architecture, Kafka, and Spring frameworks to build scalable and secure systems. Location: Riverwoods, IL (Onsite position) Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality full stack applications using Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Java. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure smooth deployment processes. Utilize DevOps practices to enhance the development lifecycle and improve system reliability. Integrate and manage messaging systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka to ensure efficient data communication. Design and develop microservices architecture to enhance scalability and performance. Leverage AWS services to deploy, manage, and scale applications in a cloud environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies for continuous improvement. Contribute to the overall success of projects by delivering high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Ensure solutions align with company goals and positively impact society. Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until May 10th, 2025. The annual salary ranges from $68,422 to $115,500, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to applicable plans.
