Position Overview
ISPA Technology LLC is seeking a highly skilled
Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
to support mission-critical systems under NAVWAR (Naval Information Warfare Systems Command) and PEO C4I (Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence). This role demands technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a deep commitment to securing the Navy’s most vital information systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cybersecurity architecture design, system integration, and risk assessments across classified and unclassified environments. Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls in accordance with DoD, NAVWAR, and PEO C4I security requirements. Conduct system vulnerability analysis, develop mitigation strategies, and support risk management decisions. Prepare and manage cybersecurity documentation, including Security Assessment Reports (SAR), System Security Plans (SSP), and Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M). Collaborate with system engineers, program managers, and ISSMs to ensure Authorization to Operate (ATO) timelines are met. Maintain compliance with DoD 8570.1 requirements, including IAM, IAT, or IASAE Level I certifications as needed for position designation.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or an equivalent field. 10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering, ideally with a background in DoD or naval systems. Experience supporting large-scale system integration efforts and lifecycle cybersecurity support within Navy environments. Must meet DoD 8570.1 requirements at IAM Level I, IAT Level I, or IASAE Level I
Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000
