Pacific Life . Job Description We are seeking a talented Sr. Infrastructure Platform Engineer - Storage to join our Data Center Services Team in Newport Beach, CA. This hybrid role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining modern storage infrastructure across various locations globally. You will be part of a team of 8 in the Pacific Life Corporate division. Responsibilities include: Design, deploy, and manage scalable storage solutions including PURE, NetApp in VMware environments, and Hyper Converged Infrastructure. Provide escalation support for complex storage issues and collaborate with support teams. Define security standards, hardening guidelines, and ensure compliance. Participate in automation and IaC projects to optimize performance. Monitor and tune storage performance and capacity. Ensure storage security, access controls, and compliance. Maintain server and storage infrastructure, including backups and disaster recovery. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. Qualifications: BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. 8+ years in IT infrastructure engineering, virtualization, and storage platforms including PURE and NetApp. Knowledge of Windows and Linux file systems, SAN/NAS architectures, VMware storage integration. Experience with Brocade SAN switches, automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Packer), scripting (Python, PowerShell), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with multi-site, high-availability environments and Infrastructure as Code. Preferred:
