We are seeking a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer with strong knowledge of the plastics industry and/or tooling experience to join our team. In this role, you will lead and support new product development efforts, collaborating closely with customers from concept through to production launch. This is a cross-functional position that blends engineering precision with client engagement and innovative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support new product development projects from prototype to production
• Interface directly with customers to understand technical requirements and design intent
• Contribute to product and tooling design, including materials selection and DFM considerations
• Collaborate with internal teams (tooling, quality, operations) to ensure project milestones are met
• Create and maintain detailed project documentation, timelines, and progress reports
• Support validation, testing, and troubleshooting of new tooling and products
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards
• Drive continuous improvement in design and development processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3+ years (Project Engineer) or 7+ years (Sr. Project Engineer) of experience in a manufacturing or product development environment
• Strong knowledge of plastics materials, processing, or injection mold tooling
• Experience working with medical device components or regulated manufacturing preferred
• Proven ability to manage technical projects and communicate with customers effectively
• Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and GD&T
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with silicone rubber or elastomeric materials
• Cleanroom manufacturing knowledge
• Familiarity with IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols
• Understanding of ISO 13485 or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments
