Candidates outside of the Chicagoland area will not be considered. Schedule : Hybrid
4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
No exceptions. Term : 6 month Contract-to-Hire. Our client is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive their digital and marketing execution. You'll lead the development and optimization of digital marketing platforms, building/integrating scalable web applications, marketing automation, and data-driven campaign tools for personalized customer experiences. We need a seasoned full-stack engineer with expertise in front-end frameworks, API integrations, and MarTech, with a passion for data-driven decisions. Healthcare marketing, HIPAA-compliant data, and secure digital platform experience are a plus. Responsibilities:
Develop/optimize digital marketing execution platforms, automation, and campaign systems. Build scalable front-end apps using React, Vue.js, or Angular. Integrate MarTech (CRM, personalization, email automation). Develop APIs and backend services for campaign execution, segmentation, and analytics. Ensure data integrity and privacy compliance (HIPAA, CCPA). Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and product teams to optimize engagement. Optimize SEO, performance, and accessibility. Mentor engineers; contribute to best practices and scalability. Utilize CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and DevOps. Requirements:
5-8 years of software engineering experience in digital marketing tech/web development. Experience with headless CMS (Contentful, Strapi, Sanity). Proficiency in GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and Node.js or Python. Experience with marketing automation, CRM, and personalization. Strong understanding of SEO, web analytics, and A/B testing. Familiarity with marketing attribution, journey mapping, and engagement tracking. CDP and 3rd-party marketing tool integration experience. Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and cloud infrastructure. HIPAA and healthcare data experience is a plus. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. Seniority level
