The Business Systems Engineer role requires both business and technical expertise. This position provides support for Lyft’s Corporate systems, managing their performance and incidents, implementing monitoring and alerting tools, automating workflows, developing software, configuring applications, training end users, and safeguarding system information assets. To support our business stakeholders effectively, candidates must be proactive, detail-oriented, highly technical, analytical, service-focused, and capable of executing the following skills: Responsibilities:

Serve as a techno-functional professional with 7+ years of experience in ERP Financials, supply chain, and manufacturing implementations (e.g., Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle R12), including full cycle implementations. Possess 7-10 years of experience implementing Oracle Financials & Supply Chain applications such as GL, SLA, FAH, AR, AP, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, AGIS, FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, Macro Excel, EPBCS, P2P, OTC, STP, ATR, RTR, and PTM tracks. Demonstrate experience leading system strategy definition, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, business process design, CRPs, configuration, testing, and user training. As a Lyft Finance Systems owner, translate customer requirements into Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, and Boundary applications architectures aligned with business goals. Have expertise in accounting and business process flows, data migration using FBDI, and designing custom solutions following Oracle best practices. Coordinate design, development, and testing activities; work with SQL, PL/SQL, BI, OTBI, and BICC reports. Collaborate with business users on process enhancements, communicate effectively, and troubleshoot issues. Maintain system documentation, perform server administration tasks, and optimize infrastructure performance. Work with stakeholders to prioritize needs, monitor systems, design resilient architectures, and manage software deployments and upgrades. Identify opportunities for optimization, ensure compliance through audits, employ agile methodologies, and oversee finance application strategies related to month-end close and new initiatives. Experience & Skills:

7+ years in IT systems with deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Business Systems. Understanding of software development lifecycle, project management, and translating business problems into requirements. Experience automating processes with Python, managing enterprise backup, recovery, virtualization, and cloud storage. Benefits:

The base pay range in San Francisco is $161,000 - $201,250, dependent on qualifications, experience, and location. The range excludes potential bonuses, equity, and benefits.
