Specialty: Pharmacist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 70 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Pharmacist – Night Shift (Premium Position)
Location: Reno, NV 89511 Contract Type: 13-week assignment with potential extension Schedule: 10-hour night shifts, 7 nights on / 7 nights off Start Date: ASAP (pending credentialing) Residency Requirement: Must reside more than 25 miles from the facility Position Highlights
Independent night shift coverage across 3 hospitals and 3 freestanding emergency departments (FEDs) Work alongside a pharmacy technician during shifts Utilize Cerner EMR system Compensation
Pay Rate: $60–$70/hr (based on experience) Qualifications
Licensure: Active Pharmacist License in the State of Nevada (required at time of submission) Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in an acute-care inpatient hospital setting Proven ability to work independently on night shifts
Skills & Physical Requirements
Proficiency with automated pharmacy systems and IV Laminar Flow Hoods (or willingness to learn) Basic computer literacy Ability to meet physical demands of the role (vision, hearing, repetitive motion, etc.) Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities Submission Requirements
