Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Blockchain-Based Financial Services Platform
Location: New York, NY
About Us: We are a seed-stage, stealth-mode company disrupting the blockchain financial services space by building the first tokenized annuity and insurance platform. Our vision is to leverage Web3, smart contracts, and decentralized infrastructure to revolutionize the annuity industry, increasing efficiency, liquidity, and transparency for policyholders and investors alike.
About the Role: We are looking for a visionary CTO with deep expertise in blockchain, Web3, and fintech to lead our technology strategy and execution. The CTO will build and scale our blockchain infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with traditional insurance systems.
What You’ll Do
Define and execute the blockchain and digital infrastructure strategy Hire and scale a high-performing engineering team Develop and optimize smart contracts for policy issuance, premium payments, and claims processing Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory frameworks (NAIC, SEC, FINRA) and Web3-related legal requirements Implement best-in-class cybersecurity protocols for data privacy and fraud prevention Drive continuous innovation to enhance efficiency, reduce transaction costs, and improve the policyholder experience What We’re Looking For
10+ years of engineering leadership in fintech, insurance, or blockchain Expertise in blockchain protocols (XRP Ledger, Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger) & smart contract development (Solidity, Rust, Move) Proven track record in scaling high-security financial systems Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for digital assets & insurance Passion for building in a fast-moving, early-stage startup environment Why Join Us?
