DescriptionThe Division of NEPHROLOGY AND HYPERTENSION AT STONY BROOK MEDICINE is recruiting a full-time Clinical Scholar/Investigator or Ph.D. Scientist engaged in clinical research reporting directly to the Vice Dean for Research.QualificationsPHYSICIAN SCIENTIST: Required Qualifications: MD, DO, MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board Certified/Eligible in Nephrology. Experience in clinical care and clinical or translational research in the field of nephrology. Will be responsible for research, patient care and teaching.Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated publication and active funding track record in clinical and/or translational research. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to academic excellence and the advancement of scientific knowledge of the field of nephrology.SCIENTIST:Required Qualifications: PhD, MD, MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent).
