The Laboratory General Supervisor serves to maintain the integrity of day-to day operations through focused oversight of laboratory procedures with a high accountability for problem solving for the entire department and meeting regulatory requirements in the assigned area of responsibility. Has general supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Core Lab Manager. Interacts with all sections of the Laboratory. Responsible for daily operations of assigned shift including scheduling, resolving technical issues, new hire training and general work flow. Must demonstrate sound judgment and rounded knowledge to address unusual situations. Works closely with and provides feedback to the Lab Managers to ensure quality test reporting and staff competency 24/7
