Solid Waste Compactor Operator Full Time (Manufacturing)
We are seeking a dedicated Solid Waste Compactor Operator for a full-time position in the manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of waste disposal equipment, assisting citizens with waste disposal, and ensuring cleanliness at work sites.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting citizens with the disposal of household garbage, recyclables, and trash.
- Operating and assisting with the installation of waste disposal equipment.
- Providing routine maintenance to equipment and reporting any mechanical issues for repairs.
- Cleaning and maintaining grounds and worksite premises.
- Driving a one-ton stake bed truck to various compactor sites and collecting metal.
- Picking up trash bags from parish roadways as required.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
