Job Responsibilities and Performance Standards:
Provide statewide security collaboration and coordination to ensure court security for the Supreme Court of Georgia, Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Georgia State-wide Business Court, and other courts.
Coordinate security efforts with the Supreme Court of Georgia’s Director of Judicial Protective Services.
Attend Judicial Council Standing Committee on Judicial Security meetings and provide updates on security efforts and best practices.
Establish and maintain liaison activities between the courts and local, state, and federal law enforcement and community stakeholders concerning court security.
Facilitate information and intelligence sharing among stakeholders.
Gather information in support of criminal investigations or public safety/homeland security assessments.
Evaluate the quality of incoming data, intelligence, and submissions for appropriate classification and utility.
Provide analysis of investigative information, computer, accounting, or other specialized data.
Manage crime database information.
Attend training focused on intelligence analysis and public safety, and assist in developing security trainings specific to the judiciary.
Provide judicial security trainings to the Georgia judiciary, as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Technical Competencies:
Ability to work effectively with AOC staff, judicial, legislative, and executive branch stakeholders.
Ability to observe the confidentiality of the AOC and stakeholders.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and maintain discretion.
Ability to travel within Georgia for meetings and other events, occasionally overnight.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
Ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance.
Two years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of experience as a Criminal Justice Analyst.
