We are seeking a full-time, licensed veterinary technician or Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) to join our fast-paced, dynamic surgery department. Veterinary assistants with extensive experience in surgery will also be considered. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside five board-certified surgeons and surgical residents in a facility that handles soft tissue, orthopedic, laparoscopic, and neurosurgeries.
Assist with all aspects of surgical nursing, including diagnostics, anesthesia administration and monitoring, surgery prep, treatments, and post-operative care.
Provide direct assistance during surgeries, including but not limited to soft tissue, orthopedic, laparoscopic, and neurosurgery.
Collaborate with a team of surgeons, residents and interns to ensure the highest standard of care for patients.
Contribute to the overall smooth operation of the surgical department.
A licensed veterinary technician (LVT or CVT) or Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) with anesthesia and surgical experience preferred. Veterinary assistant very skilled in surgery may be considered.
Veterinary assistants with strong surgical experience will be considered.
