Family Birth Center
Obstetrics, NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider within 90 Days within 90 Days of hire
Affiliate: Sutter Coast Hospital, Department: Obstetrics, AFM-Advanced Fetal Monitoring within 180 Days within 90 Days of hire
Affiliate: Sutter Coast Hospital, Department: Acute Care - Obstetrics, BFM-Basic Fetal Monitoring within 90 Days of hire
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
1 Experience in an acute health care setting
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE
Affiliate: Sutter Coast Hospital, • Experience initiating, monitoring and maintaining regional anesthesia is required.
Prior OB anesthesia experience is desired.
Affiliate: Sutter Coast Hospital, Department: Family Birth Center, • Minimum 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery or LDRPN preferred.
Acute care experience preferred
Affiliate: Sutter Coast Hospital, Department: Obstetrics, • Acute care experience preferred
Labor & delivery and Electronic Fetal Monitoring skills
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Must demonstrate basic nursing skills.
Working knowledge of pharmacology.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must learn operations of relevant hospital equipment.
Basic keyboard skills preferred.
Must learn basic unit operations.
Basic computer skills.
Prolonged standing and walking with ability to lift, move and transport patients and related medical equipment and devices.
Flexibility to bend, stoop, twist and reach overhead.
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills in dealing with patients, families, visitors, co-workers, hospital staff, physicians, volunteers, etc.

Pay Range is $50.05 to $76.62 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
