The State of Michigan is seeking a highly skilled
Programmer Analyst 3
to support the
Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS)
within the Agency Services team. This position serves as an advanced technical resource responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise applications including
CDC I-Billing ,
CCAC , and
Bridges Projects .
The successful candidate will work independently on complex development tasks, provide development environment and production support, and contribute to both application upgrades and new initiatives using .NET and Java technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive support for development and production environments across multiple platforms Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET 4.8 with C# and Java Evaluate existing systems and recommend and implement improvements and technical solutions Support and maintain batch jobs, application integrations, and reporting systems Develop and maintain documentation related to application architecture, workflows, and data processes Collaborate with team members and stakeholders using Agile methodologies Assist with development tool upgrades and enhancements as needed Participate in DevSecOps practices and source control processes
Required Skills And Experience
Top Required Skills:
8+ years of development environment support experience 8+ years of experience with .NET 4.8 and C# 4+ years of experience with Java
Additional Required Skills:
PL/SQL JavaScript Oracle Database Business Objects / Crystal Reports Batch job development and support Development tools and upgrade technologies JIRA and DevSecOps tools Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Git
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 11 years of relevant IT experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks with minimal supervision Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
