Objectives of this role
Maintain essential IT infrastructure including operating systems, security tools, application servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware. Take responsibility for projects within larger business initiatives. Manage business-critical IT tasks and systems offering a competitive advantage globally. Enhance business processes and develop analytics for insights. Communicate project status and achievements with internal and external partners. Key Responsibilities
Perform server administration tasks such as user/group management, security permissions, group policies, and print services; monitor system logs and resources. Monitor data-center health, respond to hardware issues, and assist in building and maintaining servers. Support internal infrastructure including laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, and security updates. Assist help desk and other teams with troubleshooting and technical support. Conduct routine audits of systems, including backups. Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven success in an IT role. Knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, enterprise backup, recovery procedures, performance monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching. Experience in project management, application design, integration, and cloud computing (Microsoft Azure). Expertise in analyzing and repairing large-scale distributed systems, creating volumes, and remote replication. Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT or computer science. Knowledge of Unix systems administration. Professional certification. Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Additional Details
