Job Title: Test Automation Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a capable and energetic Test Automation Software Engineer. You will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and improvement of software for sophisticated manufacturing test stations and the analysis of the data those stations generate. Due to the dynamic nature of our rapidly growing business, you will thrive in this role if you have (or can develop) a broad-based knowledge of engineering and product design, a good eye for detail, and the ability to think outside the box.
Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and debugging test automation software.
Collaborating with hardware engineers and software developers.
Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.
Providing subject-matter expertise on test equipment and test methods.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline.
Proficiency in writing software such as C# and Python.
A basic understanding of electronics.
Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience with automating electronics test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
Work Environment
This position is on-site in Midland. Direct hire opportunity is offered with relocation stipend, stock, and lodging benefits.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
Benefits include relocation assistance, hotel accomodation, RSU allocation, stipend of 1050 a month as well as salary
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Midland,TX.
