Harold Washington College, part of City Colleges of Chicago, is seeking a part-time Tutor in Cybersecurity. The role involves supporting students in our 18-week Cybersecurity Bootcamp, which prepares students for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. Responsibilities include providing academic assistance, scheduling tutoring, maintaining student records, and helping students develop study skills and motivation.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology-related field or equivalent certifications, including a valid CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience in tutoring or academic support, preferably in a diverse, urban college environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Completion of tutoring certification is preferred.

Details:

• Availability: Approximately 10 hours per week, evenings and weekends, virtual and on-campus.
• Salary: Minimum $20.69 per hour.
• Employment type: Part-time, entry level.
