Hours of Work:
Monday through Friday: 8:30AM-5:00PM
To the extent permitted by law, the Company may, in its sole discretion, change the work schedule to address business needs. Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced.

In This Role, You Will... Be responsible for evaluating and screening potential hires as well as assisting both internal employees and external candidates through the full interview and hiring process. You will be responsible for developing, establishing, and maintaining employer brand through event-based recruiting opportunities and partner with other department managers to develop skills within their specialty. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist II, you will be responsible for recommending, building, and communicating recruitment best practices from defining skill needs to building the talent pool and hiring, documenting interactions, outreach, and screening results, as well as maintaining staffing metrics.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties: Serves as SME in Talent Acquisition for dedicated division or department within Mariner Finance. Consults with hiring managers on best practices for resume review, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. Makes consistent recommendations on how to enhance recruiting strategies and consistently understands talent movement and demand in the market to promote Mariner Finance's employment brand and build applicant pipelines. Builds recruiting metrics and reports to drive, assess, and improve recruiting services and operations. Utilizes the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for all Mariner Finance's recruiting needs and assists hiring managers with the ATS. Develops strong external relationships and strategies to establish Mariner Finance's employment brand within functional talent pool, which includes university relations, vendors, professional associations, or agencies. Oversees the development and ongoing engagement of active and passive candidate talent pipeline both internally and externally to support immediate and long-term hiring needs. Participates in strategic workforce planning for current and future talent needs. Responsible for timely and cost-effective fulfillment of all open requisitions with high-quality talent. Ensures recruiting practices are in compliance with state/federal guidelines and internal processes. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested or according to an established schedule. Compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate company personnel. Takes lead on delegated projects as project coordinator, asking for assistance from team when needed, while outlining clear expectations to successfully complete projects prior to deadline. Manages delegated vendor relationships, which includes scheduling and leading calls, communicating needs or unanticipated issues, and delivers updates to the team when necessary. Partners with Human Resources Department managers to develop skills and partner on projects as it relates to recruitment. May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field (Human Resources, Business, etc.). Five (5) years of experience working in the field of recruiting, staffing, or Human Resources, with at least two (2) years of recruitment experience, including sourcing and developing talent pipelines Proven strategic recruitment experience, including developing talent pipelines, candidate evaluation and selection, and negotiation tactics, for a wide range of positions from entry to leadership level. Client-focused with the ability to provide excellent service to hiring managers for a variety of positions. Previous experience working with an Applicant Tracking or HR system. Outstanding interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills required at time of hire and ongoing to resolve problems to successfully utilize financial, human, and technological resources to meet established business goals. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to multitask and assist with projects simultaneously. Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. Possess flexibility during periods of rapid growth.
