We are developing an AI-powered audio transmission system designed for VoIP, defense, satellite, and telecom networks. Currently in the idea stage, we are looking for a Technical Co-Founder (CTO) to build our MVP from the ground up and shape our technical vision. Role Overview As our Technical Co-Founder, you will lead the design, development, and execution of our secure communication platform. This is a co-founder position, meaning you'll have significant equity ownership and will help drive product, technology, and strategy. Key Responsibilities Architect and develop an AI-driven secure audio transmission system for low-bandwidth, high-security communication. Lead product development from concept to prototype, ensuring scalability and security. Build and optimize real-time speech processing models for secure voice transmission. Develop and integrate encryption and secure communication protocols for defense and enterprise applications. Work on AI-powered voice structuring, noise reduction, and speech reconstruction. Prepare for funding and technical due diligence, working alongside the business team. Recruit and manage an engineering team post-funding. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years in software engineering, AI/ML, or audio processing Expertise in AI-driven speech processing, machine learning, and real-time audio transmission. Strong backend experience (Python, TensorFlow, WebRTC, SIP, RTP, gRPC, etc.). Experience in VoIP, radio, or telecom systems. Familiarity with encryption & cybersecurity best practices (NIST, FedRAMP, FIPS, CMMC compliance a plus). Start-up experience—comfortable working with minimal resources and driving technical strategy. Defense or government tech experience strongly preferred—familiarity with DoD, secure military communications, or cybersecurity standards is highly desirable. U.S. citizenship required (due to potential defense contracts). Ability to obtain a security clearance is a strong plus.
