A leading construction equipment dealer is seeking a
Power Systems Technical Communicator
to support internal service teams and customers with advanced electrical expertise. Based in
Central New Jersey,
this role plays a key part in technical support, training, and project coordination within the power systems division. Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced electrical technical support across internal departments and to external customers Manage small-scale electrical projects for the service department Design and specify parts for customized service solutions Lead in-house technical training and mentoring for service technicians Write quick-reference guides and maintain up-to-date technical documentation and software libraries Oversee calibration, software updates, and upkeep of in-house electrical diagnostic equipment Support engineering with startup and general electrical tasks Assist sales team with technical input for customer meetings, quotes, drawings, and specifications Respond to customer inquiries by phone or in-person, resolving unique or complex issues Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred Minimum 5 years of technical experience, or a combination of training and experience in a similar field Strong knowledge of PLC controls and electrical/electronic circuits Certified in the use of power quality meters and infrared cameras Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Equal Opportunity Employer All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
