The Regional Sales Director is responsible for leading the sales efforts of the Mountain Region, achieving quota attainment, and driving overall sales growth and profitability. Key responsibilities include: Manage and develop sales team members Implement strategic and tactical opportunity planning Recommend discounts, MPAs, and contracts, considering profitability and market conditions Coordinate with workplace teams to close deals Grow dedicated dealers and reduce dependence on non-committed dealers Lead market selling activities with influencers (A&D firms, dealer partners, etc.) Ensure compliance with market registration rules Participate in business reviews and provide feedback on new solutions Set and pursue personal career development goals Achieve annual sales quotas within assigned regions and product lines Hire, train, motivate, and develop top sales talent Develop and execute annual business plans to exceed sales targets Manage financial resources within budgets Utilize Salesforce.com for account and opportunity tracking Educate influencers on the value of Workplace brands and solutions Facilitate onboarding of new dealers effectively The role requires strong interpersonal, technical, communication, leadership, and business skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications, excellent communication and presentation skills, leadership by example, and a solid understanding of the office furniture market. Work/Educational requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields, with 5-7 years of relevant sales and management experience, preferably in the contract furniture industry.
