Title- cloud security monitoring specialist Location: Remote Duration: 2-3 Months Opportunity Overview: Seeking cloud security monitoring specialist with expertise in MS Azure for 3-month staff aug engagement. This role is part of a strategic initiative to enhance cloud threat detection and improve security posture within the Azure environment. What is driving the need? - Growing complexity of cloud threats in Azure - Need for expert analysis of current detection capabilities - Desire to identify and implement improvements in threat monitoring Ideal Candidate Profile: - Strong background in cloud security monitoring, specifically within Azure - Experience in threat detection engineering, not administration - Deep understanding of how Azure environments can be attacked and what indicators should be monitored - Background in security tool deployment and or SIEM rule creation - bility to assess existing systems and provide strategic recommendations - Not necessarily hands on but must be able to guide technical teams effectively. Role Responsibilities: - nalyze current Azure security detection capabilities - Recommend improvements and identify gaps - Provide strategic input and potentially guide the build-out of monitoring processes. - Collaborate with a 3-4 member internal monitoring team to understand the environment Team Overview: - 50 member global team - Operating 24/7/365 across US, Canada, and the Philippines - Focus areas: IAM, Phishing awareness and threat remediation
