The Rigel Territory Business Manager - New Orleans will promote Tavalisse (fostamatinib) in chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia (cITP), REZLIDHIA (olutasidenib) in relapsed/refractory mIDH1 AML, and GAVRETO (pralsetinib) in RET fusion-positive non-small cell lung cancer. The role aims to maximize new patient starts through focused execution, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to positively impacting patient lives. Key responsibilities include gaining access and having effective sales interactions with healthcare providers for each product, building trusted relationships with the patient care team, and creating comprehensive business plans. Understanding customer goals and clinical outcomes is vital to serve both customer and patient needs. The role requires entrepreneurial resourcefulness, agility, and strong collaboration skills. The manager will serve as the 'quarterback' for the broader field team, collaborating to build and execute strategic plans. Strong communication skills, account management experience, and established relationships with target physicians are essential. The position is field-based across Louisiana (excluding Shreveport), Arkansas, and Mississippi from Greenwood south to the Gulf Coast. Salary Range: $161,500 - $190,000 annually. Essential duties include: Meeting/exceeding sales goals by influencing key prescribers Building and maintaining relationships with the patient care team Coordinating resources to meet customer needs Developing strategic business plans focused on patient needs Additional responsibilities involve proactive learning, agility, teamwork, resource utilization, and compliance. Knowledge and skills required: BA/BS or equivalent with 5+ years in rare disease, oncology/hematology sales, or related experience Strong account management skills and established physician relationships Proven sales success, entrepreneurial skills, and excellent communication Valid Driver’s License; COVID-19 vaccination required Working conditions: Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing Moderate noise level; frequent travel may be required Rigel Pharmaceuticals is an equal opportunity employer.
